Slainte! Another amazing holiday is upon us, Saint Patrick's Day in Houston and what better way to celebrate than a nice cold green beer or cocktail, drinking responsibly in my beloved City of Houston! Where do you like to celebrate Saint Patrick's day, is it in the Rice Village? Midtown? Downtown? Heights? Or the good old suburbs outside of Houston which is also pretty amazing!
I just love seeing everybody coming together in one huge City to celebrate in excellent fashion everything green and having a great time. Some of my favorite places in the past to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day, was in The Rice Village at the good old Brian O'Neill's, where they would block the whole street and have an amazing celebration. Then we would walk over to Little Woodrow's and Baker Street across the street to meet up with some more friends and family. ?Then grab some lunch or dinner at Istanbul next door. The Rice Village has a lot of great eateries and nightlife to offer anyone either local or tourist to visit. ✅
⚙️Another good spot and favorite of mine is Midtown, where they have Dogwood Bar, Little Woodrow's and everything up and down Bagby St and Westheimer.
And I cannot forget my beloved area, the Heights where ⭐️McIntyre's (Heights) offers an amazing ambience and really cool expanded patio where they got creative and use the street as a really nice astro turf type grass with tables and benches for proper spacing between each other. Also up and down White Oak Street has more eateries and local bars to visit and celebrate the essence of Saint Patrick's Day and of course Tito, my dog, and I one of our other favorite local bar Bobcat Teddy's ? is pretty awesome.
